I guess I'll just jump right into things so here goes...
I'm not a pro at this stay-at-home mom thing. I won't even pretend. I'm really the type who'd prefer to work and hire someone to come in and clean, etc. BUT with Mr. Tylerbear at such a young age, it's important that I do this. I started looking around online to see what other people's schedules look like and found some good, some questionable, but overall, it comes down customizing to what is helpful for me.
The thing that gets most out of control here has definitely got to be the clutter. While it's certainly not enough to qualify for that show Clean House (darn! haha!!), the little piles on top of the kitchen counters, the dining table and the buffet table are, well, not budging... like bad carrot mash stains on white that weren't 'Shout'ed out in the first wash. So without any further delay, here it is:
Monday
- Clean floors on main level (sweep & mop kitchen & bathroom, vacuum living, dining, hallway, bedrooms; sweep laundry room)
- Take out trash
- Water garden
- Laundry - bathmats and utility/kitchen towels (hot water, bleach)
- Laundry - bath towels (hot water, bleach)
- Laundry - colored beach towels (used under high chair so carpet doesn't get covered with food; hot water, no bleach)
- Laundry - bedding
- Laundry - Tyler's clothes
- Major scrub down of high chair outdoors
- No dishes today (all the water is going to laundry)
Tuesday
- Early morning blogging
- Dishes
- Clutter control - dining table
- Clutter control - buffet table
- Clutter control - Tyler's bookcase and toys (agh, Legos!!)
- Visit to Public Library
- Evening class (Need time out!)
Wednesday
- Tyler's Swim Practice
- Dishes
- Water garden
- Dusting upstairs
- Windows and mirrors, sweep deck
- Bathroom counter, toilet & tub
- Clutter control - kitchen counters
Thursday
- Tyler's Gymnastics Class
- Laundry - clothes (whites)
- Laundry - clothes (darks)
- Vacuum - stairway and downstairs
- Spotbot cleaning carpet (as needed)
- Take out trash
- Roll trashcans to curb
Friday
- Dishes
- Wipe down bathroom counter
- Clutter control - computer room
- Clutter control - bedroom
- Clutter control - Tyler's bookcase
- Shop for groceries (a family affair)
- Mommy & Daddy gaming night after Tyler goes to bed
Saturday & Sunday
- Water garden
- Do whatever I put off
